I raise purebred LaManchas in the Ozarks of Missouri. They are registered with the American Dairy Goat Association. Originally only consisting of Alpines, LaManchas were added to the herd in 2009. Since getting married, I left the alpines with my parents and have focused on the LaManchas.
My LaManchas come from the genetics of COSO Farms, Amberwood, and Atwood which is stemmed from Rockin-CB, Kirwans, Celtic-Knot, Winterwood, Kastdemur's, Timber*Cove, and Royal Ransom. I breed for the "Old Style" LaMancha.
We also will be raising purebred English Shepherds for farm work. Currently, we have a male, "Hank," at my parent's farm. Read about Hank here. I currently have a year old female, but she is being relocated to a better suited home in the near future and we will be getting a female pup that will hopefully better suit our needs.
